Unmasking the Auto Industry: Hidden Agendas and I Have The Receipts
Someone say hidden agenda and receipts? Let's start this blog post off with the first receipt, which will set the stage for the rest of the post.
This is a post from LoJack's Twitter account, stating that auto dealers can profit between $300-$500 on each LoJack system sold. Receipt #1
After looking at this first receipt, walking into an auto dealership feels like stepping into a shark tank, wouldn't you say?
Sorry, folks, but in this post, there are no holds barred, and the receipts are coming fast and furious. I know, I'm not even giving you a chance to get warmed up, but here is my text message thread between myself and an auto dealership GM. In this exchange, this GM admits that for dealerships, the highest priority is all about ROI and DISC, and those acronyms stand for "Return On Investment" and "Does It Sell Cars." With this receipt as evidence, you can see for yourself that the auto industry is not interested in your safety but more about what can be extracted from your pocketbook.
After showing you those receipts, how does it make you feel? Do you still trust your friendly dealership to sell you a vehicle tracking solution that's best suited for you, or do you think it's all about the bottom line and not about your safety? Let me hear from you.
I've been combing through the ins and outs of the auto industry, and what I've found isn't pretty, as you can see. LoJack has been in the industry selling vehicle tracking devices for decades and has not innovated on behalf of the consumer but innovated on behalf of auto dealerships, and I have the receipt to prove that as well.
Highlighted in LoJack's Twitter feed, they say that by using their mobile app, it will drive customers to purchase dealership services more because the apps push notifications are designed to drive engagement. I am not sure that the app engagement is what you need from an app that is supposed to be all about protecting you on the road, instead the app is driving revenue for the auto dealership. There are more where these came from.
The most glaring post is the following one that basically using Lojack provides you "New Ways To Mke More Money", see it with your own eyes....
Think about the whopping markups the auto industry is slipping under our noses. This isn't just about profit; it's bordering on exploitation. I would think that by now, you would look at me as a credible source of information as it relates to vehicle tracking and vehicle public safety. So, when I tell you that VKIIOT has your back, I think you would tend to agree with me by now.
Enter the world of VK Industrial IoT, the new kids on the block, shaking things up in the vehicle tracking game. Here's the real deal - for less than half what you'd spend on a LoJack, you can purchase a system from VKIIOT with a boatload more vehicle public safety features. You could buy two of our systems and still have money left over compared to purchasing a LoJack system; now, let that sink in. It's almost like buying one, getting one free – and then some!
This isn't just about saving some green, though that's a big plus. It's about trust, transparency, innovation, and actually feeling like someone's got your back.
